Books in this catalog have been coded according to the level of understanding needed to benefit fully from them. (B) Is for Basic. One need not have much background to grasp these books. They are good books for beginning your study of prophecy. More advanced students can also benefit from them if the subject matter is of interest to them. (I) Is for Intermediate. These books assume that the reader has at least some grasp of the great themes of Bible prophecy. It would be best to read some of the basic books before tackling one of these. (A) Is for Advanced. Serious students with a good grasp of prophecy, Bible college and seminary students, as well as pastors and Bible teachers will find these books helpful. See our list of recommended reading for suggestions on planning your study of prophecy: Basic: Basic books do not require extensive previous reading or mastery of the subject's background to be understood. Some of them will be on a rudimentary level, but others might treat their subject in some depth. You will find most of what you need to follow the author's line of thought within the book itself. Intermediate: Intermediate books assume that the reader has a basic grasp of the subject, and do not always fill in background or describe the "big picture" for the reader. Some terms and concepts will be used without definition or explanation. Advanced: Advanced books are for readers with extensive knowledge of the subject who wish to delve into the details. Typical readers would be Pastors, college and seminary students, and experienced Bible study leaders in the church who desire a thorough mastery of their subject. |
