Jonathan Sarfati

Jonathan D. Sarfati was born in Ararat, Australia, an 1964. He moved to New Zealand as a child, where he later studied mathematics, geology, physics, and chemistry at Victoria University in Wellington. He obtained honors level in physical and inorganic chemistry, as well as in condensed matter physics and nuclear physics.

He received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the same institution in 1995 on the topic of spectroscopy, especially vibrational. He has co-authored various technical papers on such things as high temperature superconductors and sulfur and selenium-containing ring and cage molecules.

As well as being very interested in formal logic and philosophy, Dr. Sarfati is a keen chess player. He represented New Zealand in three Chess Olympiads and is a former New Zealand national chess champion. In 1988, F.I.D.E., the International Chess Federation, awarded him the title of F.I.D.E. Master (F.M.).

A Christian since 1984, he was for some years on the editorial committee of Apologia, the journal of the Wellington Christian Apologetics Society, of which he was a co-founder.

Dr. Sarfati currently works full-time for Answers in Genesis in Brisbane, Australia, a non-profit ministry, as a research scientist and editorial consultant for Creation Ex Nihilo family magazine and the associated Technical Journal, and has written many articles for both. He also contributes to the Answers in Genesis Internet website, particularly the ‘Hot Topics’ section.

Francis A. Schaeffer

Francis A. Schaeffer in widely recognized as one of the most influential Christian thinkers of our day. He is the author of twenty-three books which were translated into many languages, with more than three million copies in print. With his wife, Edith, Dr. Schaeffer founded L’Abri Fellowship, an international study center and Christian community with branches in Switzerland, England, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the U.S. Through his books and the work of L’Abbri, Dr. Schaeffer had a deep and lasting impact on thousands of people searching for truth and reality in their lives. Before his death in 1984, Dr. Schaeffer lectured frequently in leading universities in the U.S. and abroad on the recurrent theme of the relevance of Christian truth for all of life.

Tim Stevenson

Tim Stevenson has served as a pastor for 13 years."

After graduating from Southern Methodist University in 1976, he served with Discipleship Counseling Services from 1978-1990 (as Vice-President for the last eight years), and as Executive Director of the Christian Concern Foundation of Dallas from 1991-1993.

Tim has maintained an active teaching ministry throughout his years in vocational Christian work, including seminars, conferences, radio programs, and discipleship training. He has also written various literature on Christian living, and produced several audiotape series.

John R. W. Stott is director of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. He is the author of numerous booklets, devotional volumes, and books, including:

Lee Strobel

Lee Strobel earned the Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School, and was an award-winning journalist for thirteen years at the Chicago Tribune and other newspapers. He was a spiritual skeptic until 1981. Today he serves as teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church in suburban Chicago. Some of his other books include:
